Postcard Front: Black background. Four string puppets aligned horizontally in the center of the image. They are Gilles de Binche in traditional dress: jute blouse and pants decorated with lions, stars and crowns in black, yellow and red. Their pointed clogs, baskets of oranges and typical accessories (feathered hat, ruffle, bells, apertintaille) are visible. On the far right, a blue-eyed Gille, whose cheeks are marked with pink circles more pronounced than on the others. Beside him, a Gille with the most imposing nose of the four, and a short, pointed moustache. On the far left, a Gille with a short rectangular moustache. Finally, at his side, a paler Gille than the others, the only one whose smile reveals his teeth. His eyes are also blue. Verso: Top left, inscribed "Les Marionnettes virtuoses "Les Gilles de Binche" Marionnettes à fils fabriquées par Monique Fournier (Compagnie Marcel Ledun)".
