Carte postale - Les Marionnettes virtuoses "Le Lanceur de Couteaux
Creators: D Boutin
Postcard Recto: A black background occupies three-quarters of the photograph, revealing a wall in the background. The floor is made of wood. The scene features two puppets of Asian origin. The first depicts a woman attached to a black board decorated with golden dots, the end of which evokes the shape of a pagoda. Eight knives are stuck into the board. The female puppet wears make-up, black hair and bangs. The second is a bald man, also wearing make-up and a long, tapering moustache. Both puppets are similarly dressed: a long white tunic adorned with gold motifs, black pants and gold shoes.
