Figurine musicien russe
Creators: Carlo Spéder
The figurine features a Russian musician playing the balalaika, a white instrument with a black finish and four strings. The musician wears a red dodecagonal top hat, adorned with a red and green ribbon. At the back of his headgear, a mane reminiscent of brown fur with russet highlights reaches halfway down his neck. Her face, carved from wood and painted pink, matches the articulated wooden ball that serves as her neck. His elusive eyes, framed by blue eyelids, as well as his red nose and ears, are in relief, while his black eyebrows and broad red smile are simply painted. He wears a burgundy velvet top, embellished with two straps identical to the ribbons on his hat. His shoulders are adorned with fringed golden leather epaulets, and three golden buttons adorn the front of his torso. Her hands, fashioned in iron and painted pink, feature red nails. Her waist is marked by gold piping. His pants are in black velvet, and his black-painted wooden shoes have rounded edges. The figurine rests on a wooden base covered with an organic gold fabric, edged with a red, orange and white striped ribbon and a fine yellowish cord.
