Figurine au teint doré
Creators: Carlo Spéder
The figurine features a sculpted wooden head with a gold-painted face. It wears a removable golden cardboard hat, under which are two golden fringed headbands: one on the right side, the other on the back. Initially, there appeared to be three. His raised cat's eyes, black, white and turquoise, are topped by black eyebrows. Under her eyes are black and brown markings, and she sports a discreet red smile. Her neck is made of an articulated wooden log. From her shoulders emerge two pieces of gilded iron, twisted and straightened, beneath which are long, rectangular shoulder pads in turquoise fabric with red Paisley motifs and golden bangs. His torso is dressed in an elaborate costume, including a green textured fabric top adorned with white crosses. Her arms and legs are wrapped in a woven textile, tinted red with golden highlights. A golden ribbon, decorated with bangs and stars, hangs over the upper torso and also covers the elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. Tufts of beige fur adorn the wrists, knees and hips. His hands, made of gilded iron, feature twisted fingers. At his waist, a golden border holds two types of rectangular fabric to the front of the figure: the first, in the foreground, is turquoise with red and gold Paisley motifs, while the second, in the background, is golden with bangs. At the back of the figure, the arrangement is different: in the foreground is a red velvet fabric with gold bangs, and at the back is again the gold fabric with bangs. Her gold flat shoes are surrounded by matching ropes. The ensemble rests on a plywood base, covered in a textured red fabric with a braided border in gold highlights.
