Figurine homme tribale africain dansant
Creators: Carlo Spéder
The figurine represents an African tribal or shamanic figure. His elongated wooden head features a face painted dark brown, embellished with white and red motifs. His hair, standing on end, is made of platinum-blond fur with warmer highlights at the ends. Her raised turquoise eyes are topped by a tiara of white, red and blue pearls. A necklace of white pearls dangles from the tiara, emphasizing her chin. Her neck, represented by a wooden bead, is adorned with a collar of the same pearls as the tiara, and fur underneath. The whole is articulated. His spherical brown nose features two red-painted nostrils, while his brown-painted cardboard ears are half-moon-shaped. His full, red lips form an "O", revealing a white interior. Her naked torso is covered with two crossed ribbons embellished with various pearls. Her arms and legs feature keloidal scarring, i.e. raised marks. On each of her limbs is a colorful plastic bracelet and a patterned ribbon. On her right arm, above the ribbon, is a tuft of fur, while on her left arm, the fur is much more discreet. His hands, finely forged from iron, are painted brown and feature detailed fingers and nails. His waist is covered in turquoise and brown colored fabric, fur, fringed brown leather and a piece of mottled beige leather. Finally, her bare feet, in painted wood, reveal sculpted toes. Her right foot rests on a wooden base, the top of which is covered with a golden vegetal fabric, while the sides are wrapped in a textured fabric with green curls. The base is in plywood.
