Figurine danseur coloré
Creators: Carlo Spéder
A figurine representing a festive or folkloric character with a colorful, richly decorated outfit. He wears a broad red headdress, trimmed with blue and red braiding, and topped with a red cone evoking a hood. His wooden face is painted brown, with round, downward-pointing eyes in relief. His teardrop-shaped nose, like the rest of his face, is adorned with distinctive markings. His ears, made of cardboard and in volume, add relief to his silhouette. He wears a slight red smile, revealing his teeth. His hands are made of brown-painted iron with red nails. His suit covers his entire body. His torso is clothed in yellow and red fabric, embellished with other, more discreet colors. It also features embossed flowers and rhinestones, as well as straps of the same ribbon as the headpiece, which meet at the waist in front and derive from it. The straps are held in place by an identical border. His arms and legs are covered in the same fabric as his torso, but arranged in an assembly of hanging, jagged-edged pieces. His white flat shoes are surrounded by a red rope. The wooden base is covered in a red, plant-textured fabric, while the sides are wrapped in a dark green fabric of varying textures, decorated with light-green lotus motifs. Only the right foot is attached to the base, which is twisted.
