Figurine danseur oriental
Creators: Carlo Spéder
Figurine depicting a dancer whose design seems to have oriental origins. He wears a two-dimensional headdress, like a tiara. It starts at his chin and continues to the top of his head, forming a circle topped by a point. It's made of red and gold paisley fabric, finished with green strings and stars, a strand of white pearls at the tip and three strands of pearls connecting each side of the tiara. Her wooden face is painted pink, with a nose shaped like a flattened teardrop and discs for eyes, whose lids are turquoise. His eyebrows and hair are painted black. Her red mouth is discreet, and her face is covered with make-up. Her neck is fitted with a hinged pink wooden bead. Her shoulders are covered first with turquoise paisley epaulets with gold bangs, adorned with a star, also found on the front of the figure's torso, but with three stars. Then, a golden ribbon passing around his neck, also decorated with golden bangs. Underneath, brown fur with burgundy highlights. His arms and legs are adorned with braided green ropes. Wrists and ankles are wrapped in sleeves open at the sides, made of the same turquoise and gold fabric, and stuffed with furs. Her iron hands are painted pink, and the nails are gilded. The bust is covered with the same fabric as the headdress, as well as with stars. The waist is marked by pieces of gold fringed fabric, pieces of red fabric fringed with gold and a longer black glittery fabric with red and gold floral motifs, also covered with stars. The waist is emphasized by a golden border from which hang two pearl necklaces. Fur covers the hips, and the gilded iron shoes are pointed, with heels. The wooden base is covered with colored fabric in shades of red, beige and black, and the sides are wrapped with green and red ropes. The right foot is fixed to the base, allowing the rest of the body to move around the right leg.
