Figurine homme marin
Creators: Carlo Spéder
Figurine depicting a man in a smiling sailor suit. On his head is a sort of sailor's beret, consisting of a thick, red-painted wooden disc, topped by a larger but thinner, white-painted cardboard disc and a red-painted wooden ball representing the pompom. His wooden face is painted pink, and his half-moon ears are made of pink-painted cardboard, the tips of which are highlighted by the darker pink found on his spherical nose. His round, raised eyes are embellished with turquoise eyelids that cover half of them. His eyebrows are painted black, and he wears a big smile with a glimpse of two teeth. His hands are made of pink-painted iron, with red nails. His outfit consists of a blue corduroy top, also used for his pants. The sleeves and hem are loose-fitting. The color has turned green on most of the fabric, except for the blue trim at her waist, which has remained totally blue. At bust level, a V-shaped opening reveals a top with white and red marinière motifs, framed by a white V-neck ending in a short cape at the back, held in place by a knotted blue and red ribbon. Her black-painted wooden shoes are round. His left foot is attached to a wooden base covered with a green, mauve and black floral fabric, wrapped in a red and beige fabric with geometric and floral motifs.
