Figurine danseur à l'armure doré vêtu de vert
Creators: Carlo Spéder
Figurine depicting an extravagant dancer whose colorful, highly decorative metallic paraphernalia could evoke ritual or festive attire. She wears a hat with several tiers. The first tier features an eight-pointed star, the ends of which first curve downwards before scrolling upwards. Underneath, golden fabric bangs emerge. The second tier consists of a round wooden bead painted in gold. Above, two beads, an oval and then a smaller, painted round wooden bead, frame a smaller, eight-pointed star similar to the one on the base. A long, transparent green plastic tip, covered in flaking gold paint, protrudes from the top. On the ends and front of the ball of the headgear are glued-on black sequins. The face, made of orange-painted wood, features a triangular nose in relief. The figure has wavy eyebrows, fine almond-shaped eyes and a shy smile revealing a tooth. His forehead is adorned with a silver rhinestone. The neck is an articulated wooden bead of the same color. His torso and shoulder pads, made of iron with turned-up tips, are the same color as his hat and also feature these black sequins. Her torso is decorated with rhinestones around the chest and navel. Her arms and legs are wrapped in patterned green fabric. Gold bangs are present at the elbows, knees and back of the waist, while at the front of the waist, two silver bangs frame a gold fringe. Her iron hands are painted orange and her fingers are long and wavy. Rows of colorful pearls adorn the hat, torso, forearms, knees and waist. Her pointed feet are also made of iron and covered with black sequins. The right foot is attached to a circular wooden base, covered with a Paisley fabric patterned in red, blue, green, pink, yellow and beige. A white and green ribbon forms a wave around the periphery. The entire underside and sides are painted red.
