String puppet from Myanmar (formerly Burma) Brown hair in a tuft on top of the head; wooden head painted white. The nose, chin, ears, and right eyebrow arch are damaged. Red top with a wide yellow border; three curved yellow sequins. Torso features a red and green diamond pattern. Wooden hands and forearms; hands painted white, heavily damaged. Strings missing from the right hand. Wooden legs, large white socks reaching below the knee. Fabric loincloth heavily damaged (in tatters at the back). Right leg slack. H-shaped control cross.
