Marionnette birmane verte
String puppet from Myanmar (formerly Burma). Brown hair in two tufts. Head carved from wood and painted white and black. Nose, chin, forehead, and neck are damaged (paint chipped). Upper body is a faded blue verging on green (in vertical stripes) and is heavily damaged. Green fabric trim with curved sequins in groups of three. Green fabric skirt; wooden legs with white socks reaching up to the knees. H-shaped control cross. Wooden hands painted white, heavily damaged, with red stains on the wrists.
